When we started the Korinthians a year ago, everyone assumed that this was just going to be a nice way for some people to have a knockabout game once a week. Little did we realise that it was going to turn into a breeding ground for new players. With both the ladies’ teams decimated by an outbreak of exotic…erm…holidays this week, three Korinthians – Angela Scott, Vicki McLean and Anna McGregor – stepped into the breach today and not only did they all acquit themselves very well indeed, but Angela and Vicki managed to come away with both Kinross goals in a hard-fought two-one win against Grove III.
Skipper Wendy and coach Gurdi were both very, very proud.
