Photographs and match report from Kinross 2XI vs St Andrews 6XI on Saturday 18th October:
—
An early short corner ten minutes in saw the girls setting the tone for the rest of the match with 1-0; A great injection from Katie and goal from Mia in the first quarter.
Lauren snuck a lovely goal behind the eagle eyes of the goalie bringing the score to 2-0 by half time. After a tidy team talk with coach Monty, the team regrouped and came out with a bang in the third quarter. Ailie worked her magic through the St Andrews players, structuring the pitch with mature play and scoring two goals within 8 minutes, not long before setting up a great assist for Ade. A cracking deflection from Ade into the top corner ensured Kinross a strong win against St Andrews Uni 6s, and the Ladies 2s look forward to their next match against Stirling 3s on 1st November.
Well done to Ailie for Player of the Match💜
