Match report: 15.11.25 Ladies 1s vs Stirling Uni 3s
A sunny crisp Saturday saw the Ladies 1s play away against Stirling Uni 3s at the University sports centre. The sun certainly played its part in keeping goals few and far between, and an unlucky narrow miss from Lisa, led the score to remain 0-0 at half time. Into the third quarter, Stirling put the pressure on with an unexpected goal. Ailie produced a couple of beautiful reverse hit shots on goal but the Stirling goalie was on fire. It was Catherine who popped the goal in that made the score even, during an intense short corner. Sitting at 1-1 with 6 minutes left, and determined not to settle for a draw, in a fast short corner Philippa hit a straight strike which left Stirling wishing they’d just stayed in the pub. Full time: 2-1 win to Kinross
Big well done to Tibbie, who was the POM!
