Kinross cluster girls

As they head for the upper levels of the Kobras, and the transition to the development squads, it can sometimes be difficult to keep up with the Dollar girls, who play a lot of hockey. We also tend to get a lot of strong Dollar girls joining at these ages, as the keen ones look to make the first team. This can be disheartening for the KHS contingent.

But there are things you can do to help.

Firstly, think about coming to Kobras twice a week (or, once old enough to attend, you can up this to three sessions per week by coming to the late Kobras session too).

Play all the tournaments you can.

Finally, try to go to as many hockey camps as you can. Attending a camp for a week can deliver the same amount of hockey as a term at Kobras, and the coaches tend to be professionals, so your standard of play will come on quickly. Lots of Dollar girls go to the camps too, so the ice is broken and friendships are formed.
